BarryD 0
I looked everywhere in the forum and the manual and I can't find. Is there a GPS/NAV switch on this plane? I probably won't use it since this plane really isn't the type for an auto-GPS guided cruise. But everything else seems to be there and no way to select GPS/NAV. Thanks Barry
Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello Barry, You can use the a key combo to change it should you need to, you may have to assign it first in the sims settings.
Shady Grady 0
I know they are a little touchy about fiddling with config files so I had my ground crew do all the work LOL. Adding this bottom line in red will give you a GPS/Nav switch from the default Baron in the upper left corner of the Beavers auto pilot. Just make sure the numbers of the gauges are in sequence like when adding repaints. Mine may be a bit different from yours since I added the pop up panels from the free downloads section. So just copy/paste the line in red and renumber if neccessary. High Plains Gamer 0
I usually try to avoid necromancy, but this might be useful for other people. Flight Sim Commander has a function, AutoHdg, which turns on the autopilot to follow your flight plan. For all intents and purposes, it is functionally equivalent to using the GPS switch. Let's hope the next Beaver has at least one variation with a GPS/NAV switch.
Snave 466
It's a backwoods airplane. 1940's vintage. Most don't even have an autopilot. Why would you expect it in such an aircraft?
