I've never tried a train sim being more of an FS person. I was thinking of trying a subway one for my laptop but am not sure if it's specs, graphics card, etc will be up to it. Is there a demo version available?

might i suggest you try Trainz? Its a great Train simulation. (if you need more details, PM me)

Just a heads up; but the latest 2010 version is a HUGE FPS hog (FSX runs ok on my machine; i get around 2-3 FPS with Trainz 2010).

Try to see if you can get Trainz 2009. that was probably that best one
