WarHorse47 9
I noticed something during my flight this evening in the Tundra version with modern cockpit. I believe that the RPM gauge should be on the left and the Manifold gauge should be on the right, but with the modern panels they are reversed in the 2D panel. The VC panel has them in the correct position. And they are correct for the older 2D and VC panels as well. Easy to correct by swapping out the two gauges in the aliased panel.cfg files. --WH
Guest Hodge001
Hi WH You are correct the gauges are reversed, the easiest way to correct it would be to completely replace the [Window00], [Window01] and [Window02] entries in the panel.cfg file with the ones below, or you could just find and replace the entries for the individual gauges, it’s just quicker to copy and paste the full entries though. Anyway here are the full windows entries for the modern Beaver 2D full and lowered panels; I have also added the entry for the pop up RPM and Manifold gauge, as I can’t really remember if they to were transposed as well. As the tundra version (or any variant that uses the mofern panel) is an alias of the modern version you will only have to replace the entries in the modern versions panel.cfg file I hope it helps. Guest Hodge001
Hi again Yep you right, for some reason I had not changed the lowered panel, or more probably the error crept in whilst I have been trying to redo the gauges for a previous posting. Sorry about that, but I hope that you do now have the gauges in the correct layout. Jim Hodkinson
