VinFlyer 8
Thanks for this update, just what this plane needed. Now that we've got Bitching Betty, how can we turn her off? She can be annoying some times... If I'm correct there's a switch on the Audio 1 panel for that. In FSX most of the Audio 1 switches are inop so perhaps one of those can be used for that? Finn 873
I think it is safe to say that no additional buttons or switches will be added - sorry ! Doing that would require new VC model files for all versions. The work to do that is total out of proportion for adding just one switch. I don´t hope that Bitchin Betty yells at You constantly, cause that would indicate that You either is flying towards the ground or have massive system cautions all the time. tepreston 0
I have just uploaded two new updates. If you were fully up to date you are now running version 1.20. AS_F16-Fighting-Falcon_UPD_ALL_to_121.exe this one will update all existing versions to the latest 1.21 versions AS_F16-Fighting-Falcon_UPD_120_to_121.exe this one only contains the 1.20 to 1.21 changes *duh It all was pretty complex but I think all should be well now. Do take care that both updates overwrite the aircraft.cfg files so it you have additional liveries or other mods installed you save your aircraft.cfg files! As always the updates are in the FAQ's / Updates section. Don't use these updates on pirated copies, could end badly. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Aerosoft FALCON X 1.21 ReadMe. tepreston 0
I am trying to find the up date (AS_F16-Fighting-Falcon_UPD_ALL_to_121.exe) you mentioned and logged in to the site. There are no places that list the f16 fighting falcon in the FAQs to download this. I like your program and want to reload it on my new computer. Thanks if you could give me some help with this. M2769 2
Tom, Have you been able to find the 1.21 update yet? If you click on "FAQ/Updates" on the Aerosoft website (or go here: http://aerosoft-shop.com/support.php ) and log in with the e-mail address you bought the F-16 with, it should appear in the "Products:" dropdown list. After selecting the F-16 and clicking "Continue", I see the following options: -> F-16 Fighting Falcon Paintkit -> Update 1.20 to 1.21 -> Update all versions to 1.21 Clicking on the last one gives me a link to download the AS_F16-Fighting-Falcon_UPD_ALL_to_121.exe file you're talking about. Do you see all of that after logging in? Marcus
Hammerfly 0
When I click on the product list dropdown, there is no F-16 listings of any sort. How do I find the downloads. I know it must seem like I'm an idiot or something, but this isn't my first rodeo. Maybe I'm just getting too old for this stuff.

kenthom 2
I have version 1.1 according to the download disk. I downloaded the patch and I still have a problem. The UHF Coms panel will not allow me to set the frequency. One digit rotates between 8 & 9 so it will not allow a different number to be chosen. It is impossible to dial in a frequency on either com 1 or com 2. Suggestions And, the left MFD will not allow me to return to return to the "map" once I make another selection. Because of these to issues I have not even tried to do more of the performance that this sim should do. I appreciate your assistance.

Fighter Controler 0
Hello, I've downloaded the update yesterday (all to 1.21). After I've installed it, I wasn't able to choose the F-16's anymore in my "select aircraft" screen. When I checked my "Simobject/Aircraft map", I saw that all the models of the F16's are right there. I tried to repair my F16pack with the CD and then instal the update again but it doesn't work either. Does somebody know how to solve this? P.S. When I check my missions screen, there are two F16 missions and I can play them!

I would suggest you un-install the Falcon and then delete any remaining folders, then re-install the CD and check the version number. If using Windows Vista/7 then run the installer by rightr clicking on the installer Icon and selecting, "Run as Administrator".

This is due to a FSX limitation. - Landing lights are not possible due to the structure of the HUD we used.
