eurowing 65
updates.... modeling of the VC is dead on schedule (hey, done by Germans so what do you expect?).Few things we like to point out on the images attached. First of all, they are all from 3dmax, FSX makes it look better. Second, see how smooth all round shapes are? Compare that to others, ok? Last, not really easy to see on these shots, the view lines from the seats are dead on. That's something we spend a lot of time on, mainly because the busdrivers that help us with this project insist on it. Also note that all displays are faked, not as they will be.Mathijs,is there going to be a 2D panel, as well?regards,
JamesChams 108
Mr. Kok,Its starting to come together nicely. I hope that you will continue to add those fine lines to the textures and make them look as realistic as possible (NOT cartoonish but more like your Cat, Beaver, F-16, & Otter at 2048x1024 32-bit or greater textures); if possible. Also, I won't say anything about the ADI gauges, just in case "you know who" is around. BTW: Will you be modeling all the Flows from startup to shutdown for FSX? I would really like to fly this "procedurally" as far as FSX allows. And, are there plans for an Airbus Flight Crew X (FS2Crew)?

It would be GREAT! If you could use the CS757 as a role model when compiling the textures. I am also very intersted to see the nose section as well as the engines. A lot of people get that wrong. The Overland A320 has accurate engines unlike PA Airbus, Wilco, IFDG, etc... And Wilco got the nose wrong too. Looking forward to more. Looks nice. Maybe you will be ready before AirSi.... Erik Brouwer 8
(hey, done by Germans so what do you expect?).Well, considering how they are screwing the A400M, I'd expect nothing! Just joking, this VC looks brilliant! I'm not an airbus-fan at all, so won't be buying this one. If you only could make a 777 or 737 Classic this way.. aal763 1
Same here I am strictly a Boeing/Mcdonnell-Douglas fan. I can't stand the sidesticks on the newer Airbuses. As a right handed pilot I prefer a yoke that you can grab with both hands, or at least use your left hand in a comfortable way.
Rafal Haczek 1612
use your left hand in a comfortable wayNo offence of any kind, just out of curiosity: what's so uncomfortable with left-hand holding an ergonomic Airbus stick (provided you have already earned your left seat) compared to left-hand holding a Boeing yoke while your right hand is busy with the trottle levers?I have flown both yoke and stick (central and side) controlled aircraft in real word and see no discomfort with the latter.Best regards,Rafal
Erik Brouwer 8
The point I have against the sidestick, is that I'd spent my money on the Saitek Yoke stuff, which then will be useless. Next to that, I'm more into the Boeing way of flying. I really don't know anything about airbus-systems..

I really don't know anything about airbus-systems.. I use the Saitek Cyborg Evo for my Airbus flying. It's the only joystick that can be configured for left or right hand use. I also have the Pro Flight Yoke too.

wiebe 6
Your're not supposed to hold the yoke with both hands anyway, right hand should be on the throttle
Guest inbrekers1
Your're not supposed to hold the yoke with both hands anyway, right hand should be on the throttle That depends on the situation... You have auto throttle and during landing usually the pilot-non-flying will do the throttles...
macca22au 30
If you have enough USB ports, then it's easy to have a joystick as well as yoke. After all it is not just Airbus, there is the Tiger Moth, Cub and many, many that are flown with a stick not a yoke. Someone earlier queried a 320 being built by another company, indeed I understand it is on the market. I am glad I never bought it, those that have describe it as vapourware, not worth the money. So I'll go with dear old Wilco until Aerosoft A320 is RTM. Soon I hope.

Just got news today that that company that has made the A320 is going to release that fix in less than a month... Not vapourware at all. And that A320 is only for FS9 anyway, so if you have FSX you shouldn't worry if it was vaporware or not. P.S. Just to add that I have that A320... Just a little patience is needed. Emi 5161
Hi , I would like buy this airbus ,so i have a question , when can we buy it ? thanks , bye Jules depends on which version you want,... download is planned for the 1st august, at the moment, and the boxed version can be bought already (but you woun't get it untill 30.08.2010 :-) ) but at the moment the project is frozen, so you don't even need to ask... please wait 6 or 7 weeks then i think the "original" forum will be opened again, and then we can get more information about the airbus, and the release. (and hopefully the final download version xD)

Not for six weeks, only till mathijs gets back, which will be a few days.... Also the airbus project isn't frozen, beta testing will continue, and whenever possible devs will work on it. Info on the bus is widely available on this forum, accompanied with screenshots. If there is news, you'll hear it - as usual - right away here on your local forum
ABird 71
DON´T ask the Aerosoft-Team about the Release. The Airbus will be released when the Airbus is finished.
