What is the common setup of air speed True or indicated in the glider.

If I wanted to make a polar which do I base the speed on.

As I get higher the two deviate more so which is correct to use based on a polar diagram to use for speed to fly

Thanks Mike

Mike,

it's Indicated Air Speed. Here's a link that explains the whole story about airspeed: http://www.auf.asn.au/groundschool/umodule2.html#vspeed
