Chris Gordan 0 Posted May 9, 2004 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Friends,I'm pleased to announce the Peter Lürkens has come up with a marvelous way to experience a VERY realistic winch launch in FS2004. It is a script in the FS adventure language that includes realistic callouts (in English, German and French too!!) and other sound effects. The package also includes a few modifications to Max's Astir CS to 'tweak' the vet a bit, but the script will work for any VET equipped glider, and you can save flights in such a way as to be able to winch from any field that you like! This is really a breakthrough, folks...it uses the VET technology in a whole new way so that for the first time, we get a realistic launch (complete with sounds, and failure probabilities) instead of a JATO launch.Get the first public release on the SOAR Utilities Page Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
