Sim stutter exactly every 60 seconds with possible fix/issue discovered

Featured Replies

Every 60 seconds the sim has a heavy stutter/frame drop. GPU and CPU usage drop during that short period. I found that this stutter happens every time the aircraft creates/updates a log in: AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2024\aerosoft-aircraft-a346-pro\work\ToLissLog.txt

I have ruled out GSX and any other addons and this only happens with the a340 (v1.0.5). I have attached the Procmon log. At the top you can see the sim writing that exact Log file when the stutter happens. Is there any way to disable this log from being created/updated as a temporary fix until the next update? image_2026-09-22_161856691.png

Hi Sprud:

no...there is no way for you to disable the logging. But we have decided to push out a hotfix early next week that will only address this particular issue so you guys can get back to enjoying the A340 and don't need to wait for the next bigger update.

Hey: unfortunately there was a small delay by about a week as the new build showed some unrelated issue that we first wanted to investigate, before putting it out to you potentially introducing a new problem. But that has been solved so the stutter fix should be published next week.
