Hello Folks,
September is upon us and we need to get things going for some creativity. This month we'll focus on Landings which includes preparing for and after landing images. That being said the opportunities are endless for creativity.

While not being mandatory for the contest, participants can enter an Approach - in preparation for landing image and the actual landing of the original image posted..... They must match and there certainly needs to be some creativity to capture the moment.

Here are a few sample to provide some context:

This contest will allow two images ONLY if the requirements of the contest are met, so make it count!!

Users are allowed to change their posted image up until the time frame allowing you to do so expires. If you fail to post an image based on the theme of the month, it is very likely that the image will not be considered during "judgment day".

This a multi-sim platform for your "FLIGHT" images as we welcome Prepar3D, MSFS 2020, X-Plane, DCS, Infinite Flight and even AeroFly images.

Good Luck to ALL!!

@kroswynd

Great screenshots and great new theme. I understand your instructions but I do no understand the statement "pre- and post- images allowed". Please clarify this?? The only think I can interpret this statement is that you allow two screenshots per post (one before touchdown and one after touchdown). Is it correct?

Thanks,

Aharon

Hello Aharon,

Thanks, we'll based on your question I think it can lend to making it more interesting. The aim was to allow participants to show an image during the approach in preparation for landing (pre) or landing/landed (post). I think this is what may ha e thrown you and maybe other off a bit. My apologies.

While not being mandatory for the contest participants can enter an Approach - in preparation for landing image and the actual landing of the original image posted..... They must match and there certainly needs to be some creativity to capture the moment.

Stunning set Simeon!

Love the additions but I still go for the St Barts shot. Having seen many a Caribbean sunset it brings back many memories.

Ed

@kroswynd

Thanks for clarification. You mentioned in your replying post the operative word "OR" which I right now understand. That is big difference from the original word "AND" in the subject heading. LOL

Now I am glad that you change from one screenshot to two screenshots that must be approach in first screenshot and touchdown in second screenshot.

Shana tova to you and all.

Regards,

Aharon

Well, I suppose that’s my photo for this month.

Hi all,

My entry for this month: After a long-haul sector, this BA 777 is back at LHR for an evening arrival.

Touchdown
Firm on the runway. Welcome home.
