June 2026's Screenshot Contest: FIFA World Cup 2026

Featured Replies

Shalom and greetings all!!!

It is FIFA World Cup 2026 time!!! That means new June 2026 monthly screenshot contest will focus ONLY on list of American cities that host FIFA World Cup 2026 games.

The simple rule in addition to normal Aerosoft screenshot contest regulations is to show any plane or helicopter over any of the required American cities listed below. It can be over city landscape, OR over sports stadium where World Cup 2026 games are played, OR over, runway approaching, or runway landing, or plane action on airport of any required city.

Here is list of the required cities hosting FIFA World Cup 2026 that you can pick one:

  1. Atlanta: Mercedes-Benz Stadium

  2. Boston (Foxborough): Gillette Stadium

  3. Dallas (Arlington): AT&T Stadium (Host of the most matches)

  4. Houston: NRG Stadium

  5. Kansas City: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium

  6. Los Angeles (Inglewood): SoFi Stadium

  7. Miami (Miami Gardens): Hard Rock Stadium

  8. New York/New Jersey (East Rutherford, NJ): MetLife Stadium (Host of the 2026 World Cup Final)

  9. Philadelphia: Lincoln Financial Field

  10. San Francisco Bay Area (Santa Clara): Levi's Stadium

  11. Seattle: Lumen Field

Have fun!!!

Here is two examples although it might be wrong stadium but in right city of Seattle:

Famous Seattle sea port is good example of any city landscape of one of specific World Cup cities.

Another example is MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on way to KEWR runway

Shalom.

I just had to go back to 1986 to remember the word 'Shalom' from elementary school (dt.: Grundschule). I learned one or two hebrew words at elementary school,

and one of them was 'Shalom' .

Hallo. :-)

You're the first forum member on a forum where I am online who this year mentions the Soccer World Championships 2026. And Israel doesn't really take place overseas...

And you open the topic anyway. Congrats.

I own p3dv4.5 as my preferred simulator, but where do you get all the 16 Stadiums from?

11 US-American stadiums + 3 Mexican stadiums + 2 Canadian stadiums (Toronto and Vancouver) .

Your favorite aircraft is an Air Canada B777, with Air Canada 'Ice' colors? History.

But nice, probably nicer than the 2026 Air Canada colors... :-)

PS: I must say, I haven't tried to find one US-American soccer stadium with p3dv4.5 in my whole life. After last sunday I should try to find

NRG Stadium Houston TX .

Lumen Field Seattle WA here on TV looks quite amazing. With something like a bell tower within the stadium?

Greetings.

@Ruhrpilot07 ,

Please keep in mind that as the rules of this month's screenshot contest state that you do NOT have to find stadiums of World Cup cities as specifically listed in the original post. You can use city landscape or airport of one out of the listed cities as described in the rules in the original post.

The stadiums that are in my example screenshots are DEFAULT FSX sceneries meaning it is part of FSX. Unless I am mistaken, I believe Lockheed is using same FSX default sceneries for their P3D products therefore you should not have problem finding stadiums as default part of P3D. I do not use P3D and anybody can correct or confirm I am right or wrong. I would not know anything about P3D but that should NOT stop you from participating in this contest especially you can use city landscape or airport of one of the listed cities.

Also, I was just citing my few stadium screenshot examples out of 16 stadiums. I do not even know if FSX has other stadiums as part of default scenery.

Good luck with the contest!

Regards,

Aharon

Is this a real contest? I didn't know Aharon was a moderator who could start contests or issue prizes.

What happened to Kroswynd?

Darryl

@Aharon has successfully collaborated on previous monthly themes and was kind enough to prepare this month's theme as well, so hats off to him! 👏

My entry for this month! - Established on the ILS Runway 36L into Dallas (KDFW), this British Airways B777 from London Heathrow (EGLL) leaves the European heatwave behind ☀️ and offers a spectacular wing view of one of the FIFA World Cup 2026's most iconic venues: AT&T Stadium. Good luck teams! 🥅

Hi Darryl,

This was a real contest. Aaron was kind enough to kick it off for me as June was a busy month for me and then trying to squeeze in going to the FSExpo things got a bit hectic. apologies if this may have thrown the thought process off regarding this June's contest.

Here is an idea!!! - The contest will be reopen for 4 days starting Friday 4th and ending Monday 7th at midnight

Hm. At least Aharon is a member since 2013, in contrast to you...

And yes, somehow I like to second what you said. A contest for June 2026, only opened on June 7th 2026, that also confused me a little bit.

So, who wins? My favorite is kroswynd ... :-P

An A320 in combination with msfs 2024...,

sometimes I think, working for aerosoft can't really be that bad.... So, the June contest really has... two participants: kroswynd, and IvanRS .

But now I have something for Aharon. I know, the contest is closed, but the idea was so nice. So, let me add my point of view to this topic, ok?

This is Lumen Field, Seattle WA . From my point of view. Compare that to Aharon, we are ... imho less than one nautical mile away from each other .

P3dv4.5, with a little help from my second valid simulator license, which is fsx. I just imported the de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver from fsx into my p3d,

which obviously works like a charm, VirtualCockpit included. :-)
