LIMC for MSFS

Featured Replies

Great to see an update for LIMC, unfortunatly it seems that once again loyal MSFS users are left in the dark. Shame developers only cater to the supposedly latest and greatest. Not everyone can afford or wants the latest. Makes it very difficult to continue to support developers who can't be bothered to update their products for a very reliable and dare i say great sim.

But David, at the same time, it is really hard for a developer to support themselves if they spend serious time on a platform that brings them no additional sales. The two platforms are really different at the moment, and making a product compatible with both platforms means adhering to FS2020 standards and leveraging FS2024's backward compatibility. That means missing out on some features and problematic memory management.

FS2020 is a fine simulator, but commercially, it is dead as a Norwegian Blue Parrot.

What you say does make some sense. However when a developer releases a product and advertises it as the latest and greatest* and then has serious issues. Releasing a new improved 2024 version, shouldn't come at my expense when I've purchased the 2020 version in good faith. Any way I have both Sims but honestly I can't see 2024 as being much better. Maybe I need a better pc. Regards
