The April Screenshot Contest will focus on celebrating the recent release and debut of Aerosoft's newly released A340-600 Professional.

Compliance for this month's contest is simple! The screenshot MUST contain any variant of the A340 - 600/500/300/200, the aircraft must be in motion and or there is some action taking place with the aircraft which includes images of the aircraft during pushback, taxiing, takeoff roll, in-flight, configured for landing, and landing - there MUST be some sort of visible motion. Providing context for the image may add to the creativity for the scene being captured.

Entries for the A340 can either be freeware or payware - whether it be FS2004, FSX, Prepar3D, X-Plane 11/12 or MSFS 2020/2024.

Note from Kroswynd: I would like to thank Aharon for assisting with the monthly screenshot contest for the past few months. This month's theme was also his suggestion which I think was fitting. I know most of the participants are tube-line pilots so I am expecting to see some creative work. So come on and let's see what magic can be captured by pressing the screenshot shutter button.

As Always   - All participants are ONLY allowed 1 image if you post more than one - ONLY the first entry will be judged and the others deleted.
 

Users are allowed to change their posted image up until the time frame allowing you to do so expires.  If you fail to post an image based on the theme of the month, it is very likely that the image will not be considered during "judgment day".
 

This a multi-sim platform for your "FLIGHT" images as we welcome FS2004, FSX, Prepar3D, MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, X-Plane 9 - 12, DCS, Infinite Flight and even AeroFly images.

We’re taking off on a lovely winter’s morning; boarding is (almost) complete – we’re ready to go!

Hi all,

My entry for this month: Lufthansa’s A340-600 taking off runway 07C in Frankfurt is always a moment worth stopping for. That incredibly long fuselage and the deep roar of the four Rolls-Royce Trent 556 engines make her feel almost unreal as she lifts into the sky. With the control tower standing witness to her departure, it feels like more than just a takeoff, it’s the passing of a legend in motion. Knowing these aircraft are slowly disappearing from our skies only makes moments like this more special, pure aviation heritage, still alive, if only for a little while longer. Thanks Aerosoft/Toliss for this marterpiece.

Departing in the 340, embracing the motion all around us:

-The motion of the aircraft pushing through the air; with hundreds of passengers in motion toward their destination with powerful exhaust moving out of the engines

-Machinery in motion of the landing gear starting to retract

-The motion of the wind blowing across the grass and making waves

-The motion of the clouds building, moving, and dissipating

-The motion of the virga falling on the horizon

-The motion of the light waves reflecting off the ocean and fuselage; and the lack of them in the shadows.
