Mega Airport Brussels

Featured Replies

Hi All,

There is a wall on EBBR runway 25R in MSFS24.
I have cleared rolling cache and reinstalled the addon.
Most takeoffs at Brussels take place on RWY 25R so this is a very blocking issue.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello! I'll take a look!

I would also do as srcooke said and take a look what you have installed for that area since it looks like something is interfering with our Brussels scenery, for example you have double runway edge lights and incorrect runway textures. Here's an image of how the runway should look like, the dark area on your extends further out from the edge line for example.

Is this with the scenery installed in the community folder? Or is it purchased through the In-game store?

Hi,

Thank you for looking into this!
I have removed City update 14 but the result stayed the same. I have purchased the addon via the Aerosoft store so it is installed in the community folder. I will have a look at my sim and see if anything could interfere.

This is the only scenery addon i currently have though so if anything does interfere, it has to be something native to MSFS24.

I have the same issue and it appears to me that it started with CU14. I disabled CU14 but the issue remains. Also:

  • you will see that now you have 2 starting points for each runway. So you'll see twice 25R, 01, 19,... in the start screen.

  • 2 rows of runway center lights

  • double windsocks

  • I've emptied my entire Community folder except AS EBBR and it still happens.

  • The content.xml does not mention any other EBBR airport

HOWEVER:

  • I uninstalled EBBR

  • Launched MSFS

  • Reactivated CU14

  • Closed MSFS

  • Flew around Antwerp

  • Closed MSFS

  • Installed EBBR

  • Launched MSFS

  • EBBR shows up normally in the start screen

  • no more wall visible

Not sure if flying around Antwerp is necessary but you might give it try :-)

Regards.

Vital

What if you turn off navigraph navdata? does that make a difference? Since you got a duplicate runway something must be placing it there..

With NG 2603-rev3 there are no issues.

Wow Indeed Eric, the wall is now gone.

Who could have imagined that an Airac update for navigraph would cause this.
Thanks!

Thanks jhelly for asking your question as it solved my problem )

I installed MSFS2024 for the first time on Saturday 23 in the morning and had 'the wall'.

Tried to find a topic about that in this forum in the afternoon, found nothing so uninstalled aerosoft EBBR thinking it was not ok for 2024...

By chance, I came back today, saw your question and the solution so... Reinstalled it and it indeed works perfectly.

And also, thanks you all for helping us
