Cannot find MSFS2024 Community Folder

Featured Replies

Just purchased the Honeycomb Bravo and I'm trying to install the driver for the lights. Keep getting the error that it cannot find my community folder.

I'm having the same problem with the LED driver.... I installed MSFS2024 on a separate M.2 SSD.... in my case F:   the community folder is in F:\MSFS2024\Community

In MSFS 2024 I did redirected 'my library' into F:\MSFS2024

I had the same issue. It was fixed when I redownloaded the zip file, received a bunch of  warnings on Windows 11, but got through those and works just fine now.

Позвольте мне уточнить у разработчиков. Возможно, он будет устанавливаться только в стандартную папку и на стандартный диск.
Я вернусь к этому вопросу позже.

Affirmative....It should be installed only in the default folder on drive C.

Yes indeed, I confirm.
The developpers are currently working on this.

Please let us know when the issue is resolved.

not sure if this will work, not had a chance to try stuff properly.

I created a "fake" community folder in the expected location
C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community
Then ran the installation and it worked ok

It created a BravoLED folder which i then just moved to my actual community folder.

Again ... not sure if this will work 100% as i did the install and since then have been too busy to try it

ok - i tried this - and it sort of works.
I cannot figure out where the bravoLED.exe is supposed to live - i put it in various versions of the community folder and it did not seem to execute

but .. if i fired up flight sim and executed bravoled.exe by hand then all the lights started working

found that it autostarts the bravoLED.exe if it lives in the location it was installed in (i.e. don't move it to your actual community folder)
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community\BravoLED
