FlightFactor addons and the X-Updater for Aerosoft Customers

Hello,

The X-Updater from X-Plane_org now also works with FlightFactor (FF) add-ons purchased from us (Aerosoft).

https://x-updater.com/

Download and unzip the zip file for your operating system.

Then run the X-Updater.

The first time you run it, you will need to specify the directory of the installed X-Plane simulator.

You can then add (+) your FF add-ons and then update them if updates are available. You will be asked for the email address and key for the add-on in question.

As always, you can find the key in your Aerosoft Shop account (if purchased here).

Best regards,

Heinz

I cannot get the programm to work. After I have extracted it there is a folder x-updater-client after clicking on that I get further folders bearer, iconengines, imageformats, platforms, styles and translatins. no exe program. I tied your link

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads but I just receive a 404 site

I manually downloaded the  latest file

vc_redist.x64.exe but still I cannot get the updater to work.

Fred.

Hello Fred,

do you have the C++ v14 installed? Best way for both x64 and x86.

This will work here with my PC and the X-Updater from X-Plane.Org.

For the past few days, my FF A320 (version 1.7.5) has been requesting an update. No newer version is available in my Aerosoft account. I tried the X-Updater (latest version) and entered my Aerosoft login credentials (email address) as well as my FF A320 license key. Unfortunately, I only received the error message "Authorization failed." Does the X-Updater even work with this aircraft? Will there be an update in the Aerosoft Store soon? How can I continue using this aircraft?

Dear Aerosoft Support Team,
I am writing to seek assistance with updating my FF767 product.

I purchased the FF767 from the Aerosoft Store approximately six months ago. Today, when launching the simulator, I was notified that a new version (1.6.22) is available. My current version is 1.6.21.

Following the instructions, I used the X-Updater to perform the update. I correctly entered the email address I used for the purchase and the product activation key. However, the X-Updater immediately displayed an “Authorization Failed” error message.

I have tried the process multiple times, carefully double-checking for any typos in my email and activation key, but the issue persists. I am unable to proceed with the update.

Could you please assist me in resolving this authorization issue so I can update my software? Any guidance or a solution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support.

Best regards,
yh

Hello Sir,

we are working with Flightfactor on this issue.

But please open for this key problem with the X-Updater an Aerosoft Support Ticket.

This is here:

https://helpdesk.aerosoft.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new?ticket_form_id=4528270288029

And there (not here with the Forum) tell us your Aerosoft Order Number from the purchase of the FF B767.

Thank you

I think that there is no hope for anyone  to receive an update in the future. I am waiting for more than 1 month to get a sufficient answer. Flight Factor itself ignores every ticket I sent and Aerosoft can not help. The worse thing is that even NO older version can be used. Finally you have paid, but nothing runs anymore.

Dear Aerosoft Support Team,

I am writing to follow up on my previous request. First, I would like to express my sincere thanks for your assistance; I have successfully added the FF767 product to X-Updater and updated it to the latest version.

However, I have encountered a new issue regarding the add-on. I purchased the “Boeing 767 Professional Avionics Upgrade” using the exact same account and the same activation key as the base aircraft.

Since both the Boeing 767-300 ER Professional and the Boeing 767 Professional Avionics Upgrade share the same activation code, I expected that after entering the key in X-Updater, both products would appear in the list ready for update.

Currently, only the Boeing 767-300 ER Professional (the base version) is showing in the X-Updater, while the Avionics Upgrade is missing.

Could you please help me check why the Avionics Upgrade is not being recognized by the updater?

Here are my purchase details again for your reference:

Email Used: ******************* (edited by moderator)

Missing Product: Boeing 767 Professional Avionics Upgrade

Thank you again for your help.

Best regards,

yh

Hello Sir,

please use for such support questions our Support Ticket System.

And please don't post here in the public Forum your Purchase details! This is not so good. That's why I have deleted you eMail in your post above!

The Aerosoft Support Ticket system you find here:

https://helpdesk.aerosoft.com/

Thank you.

with greetings Heinz
