October's Screenshot Contest:- Touchdown!!!

Featured Replies

Hello Folks,

It's been a while due to work obligations.  This month let's make it a little bit of a challenge, so the theme is Touchdown, and the requirement(s) are very simple.

1. It must be an external shot
2. One or both main gears must be planted firmly on the runway

As Always   - All participants are ONLY allowed 1 image if you post more than one - ONLY the first entry will be judged and the others deleted.

Users are allowed to change their posted image up until the time frame allowing you to do so expires.  If you fail to post an image based on the theme of the month, it is very likely that the image will not be considered during "judgment day".

This a multi-sim platform for your "FLIGHT" images as we welcome FS2009, FSX, Prepar3D, MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, X-Plane 9 - 12, DCS, Infinite Flight and even AeroFly images.

Good Luck to ALL.

This desert sand blowing usually happens when your plane touchdowns on any airport in middle of desert such as KABQ!!!

Nice shots, guys!

Here’s my entry for this month: this BA Triple Seven firmly touching down on the left gear first, battling London’s tricky crosswinds after a long haul from Mumbai. Love those RR engines!

Loving the one wheel touchdowns!

Mine was a one wheel touch down on KJFK Rwy 22L but only just so I let the replay go a bit further to catch the JetBlue terminal at JFK.

My latest paint of currently my favourite livery! Please click on pic as it is much sharper.

Regards

Ed

As I always say, good luck to all...Darryl

Congratulations on winning October's screenshot contest.  This images captures firmly planting this bird onto terra firma.  I think a hard landing inspection will be required.

Email to follow shortly (Apologies for the delay)

Happy Holidays
