Ground Power Unit Disappears

Featured Replies

Hello-

When the airplane is on the ground and I connect ground power, power will stay on for a little while as I do my pre-flight checks and enter my flight plan. However, after a few minutes, ground power disconnects automatically, and I am not able to re-connect using the EFB. I've tried to resolve by powering up the APU ahead of doing any other tasks, but when I try to start it ground power again disconnects automatically and I am not able to re-connect it again via the EFB. By reconnecting via the EFB I mean clicking on the cart icon. When I click on it, it does not react.

Can you kindly advise?

Thank you!

Interesting.  I have an issue, in MSFS 2024, jumping into Walkround-mode and moving (pushing SHIFT+ A,S,D or W) disconnects the GPU and removes the Chocks. Setting the Chocks and re-connecting the GPU works, but when going to walkround-mode and moving around, the issue resurfaces. Funnily enough, there's no issues with moving around the cockpit (using SHIFT+A,S,D or W) and jumping in and out of Walkround-mode using SHIFT+C works - it's only walkround-mode + moving, which triggers above issue...

At first, I thought it was a binding issue - but I cannot find any conflicts in this regard...

If you're using GSX boarding, make sure to request the GPU via the GSX menu.
