Michael1955 427 Posted July 6 Share Posted July 6 Hallo Zusammen, ich meine gelesen zu haben, daß es die gesamte Layer-Struktur in X-World nicht braucht. Am Beispiel X-Word Europa gibt es 8 Layer. Layer 7 und 8 habe ich wegen der HM Kaiser expnetwork Erweiterung deaktiviert. Ist es ratsam den einen oder anderen Layer auch noch zu deaktivieren? Die solltest du nicht deaktivieren, weil dann Häuser usw. nicht mehr dargestellt werden. Dann hättest du nur den Standard von XP und das willst du sicherlich nicht, oder? Ich will ja nicht alle Layer abschalten ( dann bräuchte ich ja auch SimHeaven nicht ), nur wenn ich z.b den Layer "Footprint" deaktiviere, sehe ich keinen Unterschied zu dem, wenn Footprint aktiviert ist. Ich hätte meine Frage eventuell besser stellen sollen. Coverdale 46 Posted July 6 Share Posted July 6 Hallo Micha, Armin hat das mal erklärt: Footprint ist eine neue Art Häuser zu generieren. Wenn ich mich noch richtig erinnere, kommt das hauptsächlich in Amerika zur Geltung, da es dort keine oder wenig OSM-Daten gibt, wie hier in Europa. Deshalb siehst du wenig Unterschied in Europa, wenn du das abschaltest. Ich würde dir empfehen, es nicht ab zu schalten. hmkaiser 548 Posted July 6 Share Posted July 6 Im Layer 6-scenery sind alle enthaltenen Gebäude aus OSM-Daten generiert. Dagegen sind im 5-footprint-Layer nur solche Gebäude enthalten, die über eine MS-Software aus Satelliten-Daten erzeugt worden sind. Armin gleicht vorab die footprint-Gebäude gegen die OSM-Gebäude ab und verwendet nur solche footprint-Gebäude, für die es an betreffenden Stellen keine OSM-Gebäude gibt. Es gibt in Europa, auch in D, große Flächen, die nur sehr spärlich in OSM vertreten sind. Immerhin ist der Europa-5-footprint-Layer 1,5 GB groß, der 6-scenery-Layer kommt mit 3,2GB gerade mal etwas mehr als auf die doppelte Größe.
