Hello, I've been hunting down a fix for this issue for a few days and this seems like the place to get some help! 

 

I am trying to install the drivers for the Honeywell Bravo unit to get the LED's functional, and running into an issue I've seen reproduced online a few times. The installer is looking in folders that do not exist for my version of MSFS2024 (Purchased through the Xbox / Windows games store) for the UserCfg.Opt file. In scouring the web, I found another user on this forum who had similar challenges and was given a modified installer for the drivers. 

 

My UserCfg.opt folder is located in: C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

The installer attempts (and fails) to find it in a similar "Microsoft.Limitless" directory, or in \Roaming\\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\". Again both directories that simply do not exist. 

 

If I could get some assistance with this I would greatly appreciate it.

I will ask the developpers.

Solution to this is starting the bridge software not before the first intro screen from MSFS 2024, so make a shortcut from the bridge software program and execute this as soon you are in the intro screen.

Thanks for the input Ruud, but as far as I understand the op, he already has problems installing the driver software. So he basically gets stuck before what you are describing already.

all I can say right now is that we are trying to get a new installer up and running so that you can potentially choose the paths themselves. But no ETA, yet.
