Hallo Leute.

würde gerne von Win8 nach Linux wechseln. Beide befinden sich auch dem selben Rechner, ein Intel 4 Kern mit 3gHz und einer Geffoce Grafickarte.

Benutzt wird XP 11 unter Win kein Problem. Als Linux kommt Winux (ein Ubuntu 24.x) Derivat zum Einsatz. Ich habe xp11 demo heruntergeladen. Das war kein Problem, auch die Installation war kein Problem, wie ich aus einigen Fornbeiträgen ersehen kann. Aber wenn ich den Sim starte kommt der Startbildschirm mit den Fortschrittsbalken am unteren Ende, derbleibt bei Netzwerksinstalation hängen. Leider komme ich garnicht erst dahin wo man diese Einstellungen verändern könnte.  Eine firewall gibt es zur Zeit nicht. Hat einer eine Ide was ich machen könnte ?.
