System Freeze

Featured Replies

I've been using the CRJ V2 since realease without issues and I woke up this morning and tried to do a flight 4 times with all being unsuccessfull due to the EFB and cockpit freezing up(not the sim). I cant figure out why this is happening all of a sudden as I did 3 successfull flights yesterday with no issues. Any advice?

Made an account to also bump this. From what I can tell, this is a livery-specific issue (somehow, not sure why). Did 4 flights in the stock Delta (Endeavor) CRJ-900 livery, 3/4 of the flights froze up. Once on the ground, twice in the air, somewhere between 30-90 minutes after sim started. Did 5 flights in other variations and liveries and had zero issues, plane worked great. The only other plugin I have in MSFS 2024 is GSX Pro, and my windows is a clean install, so I highly doubt this is a sim issue -- definitely a plane issue.

As the OP stated, the displays, EFB, FMS, and buttons (with limited exceptions such as AP disconnect and gear handle) completely freeze and do not work. It's as if the plane's code just crashed. MFD and PFD will freeze at the state they were in at the time. The aircraft physics and external simulation continue to work, so I can disconnect AP and fly around still. Waited 30 minutes after the freeze yesterday and it didn't resolve itself.

Hope this helps, devs!
