bug with EFB weight calculation

Featured Replies

maybe i'm doing this the wrong way but i think it could be a bug?

on the EFB i noticed that on the performance->landing page the ldg weight value never updates, it stays fixed at whatever it was when i first setup the plane. i try going over to the performance page and do "init fuel from sim" which updates the numbers there but then after going back to the other page the LDG weight value is still the same. there doesn't seem to be a way to enter a new value or anything either, when i click it a numpad pops up but it doesn't accept any inputs. i feel like i probably shouldn't have to calculate this value by hand to enter it anyway. it's mostly annoying since a lot of times when i take off it is giving a warning about how i'm exceeding the MLW but after burning a bunch of fuel it is still giving me that warning with the same number :)

thanks

I hadn't noticed, so I'll take a look next time I fly it. When you say EFB are you referring to the one in the CRJ (and if so, MSFS or MSFS24) or the one built in to MSFS24?

i'm referring to the tablet in the CRJ 900. this landing weight value never changes. sim is MSFS2024.

The whole Weight section in the CRJ is bugged, it doesnt import correctly from Simbrief and it doesnt transfer correctly to the MSFS Weight and Balance settings.
this make flying the CRJ with correct weight almost impossible, unless you go to the WB menu of the sim and start shifting values till the weights are kinda correct. this is true in LBS or KG setting.

Refer to this thread for more details:

I also send a support ticket. So far with no answer. Would be really nice to get a fast fix for that, its very annoying and makes setting up the CRJ correctly a pain.
