Purchase CRJV2 update!!

Featured Replies

Hello AEROSOFT Team.

Is it possible to purchase the CRJV2 update ( at a reasonable price ) if I originally purchased via Marketplace place 5 years ago??

If you bought it on marketplace you can only update via marketplace, which is 100% controlled by Microsoft. Commercially (and somehow technically) the product in the Aerosoft store and on marketplace are 2 "different" products.

But anyway, the update is free, even on marketplace. But it might be that Microsoft didnt make ot available until now.

Thanks for feedback. So if I understand, the Aerosoft CRJV2 update is not compatible with Marketplace CRJV2 update???

Just desperate here as I have owned the CRJ for 5 years and for whatever reason, the V2 update hasn't been available since April 1st ( CRJV2 release date ) on Marketplace with no projected release date.

Will Aerosoft provide some type of workaround for CRJ Marketplace users who desperately need the V2 UPDATE????  PLEASE

Aerosoft hands over the core files to MS. MS Build its own installer around this, encrypts files etc. There is no other solution than waiting for MS making the update available on marketplace.

For the future I recommend to buy directly from Aerosoft.

Unfortunately for thousands of us who purchased the orginal CRJ ( over 5 years ago ) the only platform to purchase was Marketplace.

You are correct...I will never use Marketplace to purchase add-on moving forward.

I appreciate your feedback
