John2 201
Twice now flying in 2024 (SU2 beta) into KDCA (ils01) I have encountered what appears like a WASM freeze. The second time it happened I paused the sim and went into Dev mode to look at the console but I could not find any WASM errors. Not sure what is going on here. I don't have this problem with 2020. On PC Store version. Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/180181-wasm-freeze-w-fs2024/ Share on other sites
Megadeth1977 0
Same here, just happened. I was on final at KDFW on ils 36L with CRJ 900. All system freeze and fall down. I have flown this plane more than 30 hours these days and this is the first time ever that happened to me. Never happened even with other payware aircraft since I use MSFS. I'm in MSFS2020 PC Store version. Not paused. I was in a second leg returning from KMEM. Jeremy Jeffreys 10
I have found that when I first load the aircraft this may happen, I have not had it happen after a restart of the flight. The workaround that has worked so far is to load into the flight, then immediately restart the flight, I have done about 10 flights and have not had it freeze on me since doing this. Joe Markowski 157
I had a WASM freeze (I assume) in 2020 yesterday on hitting EXEC after inputting my flight plan. Worked fine on restart. John2 201
Just had a freeze flying into KDCA on final approach. Going to try the restart tip mentioned above to see if that works. (I am on the SU2 beta.) lancealotg 6
Seeing the same freezing up. I was using a third party livery, will try the default ones and see. peacemaker0079 0
Same here. MSFS2020, installed V2 from the Marketplace yesterday. After the first (supposed) WASM crash (CDU and all AP inputs unreactive, rest of sim running normally) in V2, I found out, that V1 was still installed. Uninstalled V1 manually, shut down the sim, installed current nav data (so that it is in synch with the sim), but again had V2 freeze during flight preparation at some point. Any suggestions which cached files I should delete? I could imagine that they are a horrible mess now. I will cross check with MSFS2024 the next days. (Currently I use 2024 only for GA flying because of extended laziness on my part to properly migrate my excessively large collection of airport sceneries.) Edit: Just read in another thread, that it might be related to the N324PQ livery (Delta operated by Endevor). Next try tonight will be a different livery. MrHorta 1
I get WASM crashes on more or less every flight in msfs2024 completely unlfyable in this state. peacemaker0079 0
Of couse I had forgotten to report back, as promised: The issue I had reported, does not occur with trusty old D-ACNU (Lufthansa CityLine) on MSFS2020. Seems that N324PQ is the culprit in my particular case.
