Really appreciate the customer loyalty and appreciation on display by not saying anything at all about Marketplace customers, especially when those of us who have had it from the start bought it through Marketplace because there was no other option.....

 It was a pretty sick in holiday event that you released the CRJ V2 on April Fools day......slick move.

Haven't seen any other developer holding onto an update just to wait for marketplace release. It takes 1-2 weeks usually for something to be pushed to the marketplace, no news there

Perhaps because Microsoft has not released it yet? Aerosoft just does not know when it will be available on the Marketplace. That is 100% up to Microsoft and can take one week or many weeks. When it is available, I will be sure to inform customers.

 

Btw, as the original was not available for Xbox (the SDK was not ready at that time), all customers had the option to buy it directly from Aerosoft or other vendors.

It has been conveyed (here) and by pretty much every dev, product and update intakes into the Marketplace are expected to be delayed. This is nothing new, and you can't put this on Aerosoft.

While I would normally be ganging up on the OP, in fairness, when the CRJ first launched, Marketplace and non-Marketplace updates were released simultaneously.  There were rumors floating around here from the user base about the reasons why, and whether that negatively impacted the non-Marketplace users or AS had an express lane to Marketplace releases, but that's how it was.

 

I don't remember if that went by the wayside before the final, pre-V2 update dropped, but the CRJ was a unique case, so someone who's been here since the beginning could be forgiven for expecting them both to drop at the same time.

Heh, I remember back when the marketplace was small enough that the release process was fairly fast.  I also remember when it started to get bogged down with a million "city light" upgrades and livery packs, to the point that the marketplace updates started increasing in frequency (no longer just Thursdays!) but still had a delay.  I also remember when I felt like the OP because I love this plane and want to get flying it again with all the latest goodies I've acquired, (like VR and BeyondATC).  I also remember pepperidge farms.  Shouldn't be long now. . .
