lkjhkljhklkj 0
Hello there, my personal PC is 100% Linux and I use steam to fly MSFS. Just got the alpha and bravo kit and commands are working once you explain to wine that your bravo HC is an hid device and not an xbox controller (there are a few keys to change in the reigistry and the bravo is recognized as such with no further issue). Howevere I am not able to make the lights work with the bridge program. Is there a way to make them work in this configuration? I have tried better bravo lights but no success neither. For the AFC_Bridge program, can you explain which environment it expects? (.net or other libraries that I could install with winetricks?) Aerosoft SimWare 824 Posted March 31 Aerosoft Share Posted March 31 Hi, I will check with the developpers o the bridge. In the meantime, for the sake of test, please check the basic electrical functions of the lights with this small utility : It allows you to test the lights without any driver or simulator. https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/file/6080-honeycomb-bravo-throttle-christmas-tree-application/ Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/180107-honeycomb-bravo-light-for-steam-linux-version-or-any-wine-version/#findComment-1126373 Share on other sites
lkjhkljhklkj 0
Thanks for the utility, I had discovered it already and I have made sure on a windows box that the lights of my bravo indeed work, they do on windows. But no way to make them work in Steam atm, the christmas tree sees the bravo (it populates the leds list) but changing the lights commands don't do anything. PS: is your login linked to the simware bought by aerosoft? I used to buy my sims from Simware 30 years ago ;) Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/180107-honeycomb-bravo-light-for-steam-linux-version-or-any-wine-version/#findComment-1126454 Share on other sites

lkjhkljhklkj 0
Any news from your devs? Thanks PS: For info for other linux geeks, the procedure for making the bravo behave in Linux is here: https://flightsimonlinux.com/msfs/hardware/honeycomb-bravo Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/180107-honeycomb-bravo-light-for-steam-linux-version-or-any-wine-version/#findComment-1126720 Share on other sites
Aerosoft SimWare 824 Posted April 10 Aerosoft Share Posted April 10 According to the developpers, the Configurator will not work under Linux. There were some plans in the past to develop a Linux-specific version, but nothing has come up yet.
