Honeycomb Support Information

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am a pilot that is very new to the simulator space. I recently got the new Honeycomb Charlie rudder pedals and while I was hitting the brakes on a landing the unit slipped on my carpet and the USB connection on the back hit my wall. The USB connector on the PCB lifted and damaged a few of the traces so I likely need a new PCB. I'm certainly willing to buy a new PCB and replace it as it looks simple enough, but the support form on Honeycomb's website seems broken. It doesn't give any indication that the information went through.

Does anyone know of a way to get in touch with them to order replacement components? Email, phone, etc.

Appreciate any help!

Hi, today I received a fault message from the Honeycomb 2024 drivers "Failed to Initialize SimconnectToTheLine", with the result that the Honeycomb Bravo lights don't work anymore, a bit strange because last Saterday after the installation of the new drivers it was working correctly, can you help me out here?

Cheers,

Ruud

Thank you for your reply yes this is with a airplane loaded and sim running.

Hi Ruud:

you are still seeing that issue? If yes, I will most likely have to send you a slightly altered version of the software to see where precisely initialization might fail for you. As until now it seems you are the only one with that issue.

Thanks Ben for your reply,

Sorry to get back to you a bit late but thats real life, yes sadly I still having those problems maybe it has something to do with SPADNext I have running because a had two times now when the Bravo software driver was working but most of the times it isn't, for your information I run the AFC Bridge driver with admin rights excluded it from Windows 11 security software but no luck so looking forward if we can solve this problem.

The best wishes and have a nice Christmas and a happy new year.

Hi Ruud:

don't worry: I can potentially see a scenario where one application simply might not be able to open a hid connection to the Bravo when another concurrent one is already opened. So, please try to establish if it is consistently working without SPAD running on the side. If yes, I am not sure if there is anything that can be done to mitigate the problem, unfortunately.
