Locvirtual 2
I've seen Offshore Landmarks is not yet compatible with MSFS2024, just curious as to whether it will be made so and what kind of problems the devs will encounter i.e. MSFS issues or being low priority for the team. Thanks in advance Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/179442-msfs-2024/ Share on other sites
Christian Bahr 238
This is currently under observation. Since the release of MSFS24, the wind turbines cannot be excluded as usual. And the wind turbines have a foundation made of trees, which also cannot be excluded. Let's hope that the next MSFS24 update will resolve the problems and that an MSFS24 version of North Sea Offshore will be available soon. 1 Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/179442-msfs-2024/#findComment-1123609 Share on other sites
Locvirtual 2
Thanks for the reply! Good news is the turbine tree foundation has been identified and will hopefully be fixed in some unconfirmed future update. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/wind-turbines-in-the-north-sea-with-vegetation-as-foundation/675997/13 I hope everything can be resolved so Aerosoft can bring this to 2024, it will be much appreciated for the offshore rotary simmers! 1 Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/179442-msfs-2024/#findComment-1123610 Share on other sites
OrtiMai 7
MAMU Design has published a statement that his “excluding rectangles” do not work in MSFS 2024. I don't know if it's because of the extra terrain that the overlay no longer works, but he says that recompiling with the new SKD helps. Unfortunately he didn't say if he had to increase the areas. Link zum MAMU Design Statement @Christian Bahr Have you contacted ASOBO specifically about this or are you hoping that they will take care of it? It could be that recompiling would be the quicker way. Christian Bahr 238
Unfortunately there is nothing new. Even the last update has not changed anything. Unfortunately we have to wait until the MSFS24 SDK is working properly again. As soon as there is something new, it will be announced here! 1 Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/179442-msfs-2024/#findComment-1123918 Share on other sites
