  • Well Folks, thanks to our developpers, the Honeycomb Lights driver for MSFS2024 is now available ! Final tests have been performed as we said and is works as it should. Thank you for your patience

  • The driver is done. The programmers are currently finalizing the installer. Should be all good for this week.

Sadly the json file download link is no longer available. Any possibility to get a hold of it to test?

After numerous attempts it went through without a problem. Works - 👍

Works great, all the lights are functioning. Had to double click AFC_Bridge.exe so it loaded, then restart the flight. All lights came on then after I put the plane power on.

Great job. Thanks much

Install the file "BFC_Throttle_Config.json" in the AFC_Bridge folder in your Community Folder for MSFS2024.

The .json file I can give you.
However, this is not official, so use at your own risks.

Thank you very much!  This worked for me in addition with fratus explanation.

Go to the location of your local cache for msfs20, it should be in a location similar to this:

      C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache

From here, copy exe.xml into the local cache folder for msfs24. Should be located here:

     C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

You will need to also copy the folder AFC_Bridge from Packages/Community in msfs20 to msfs24.

Finally, you need to edit the exe.xml file you copied previously into msfs24 LocalCache and change the Path value under <Launch.Addon> to point to the correct location for MSFS24.

Once you make those changes start msfs24 and you should have lights!!!

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much!  This work with the BFC_Throttle_Config.json file provided by the Aerosoft team.

The .json file worked for me as well. Only issue I see is that the Anti Ice light is constantly lit. (Even on airplanes that don't have Anti Ice.

I got my Honeycomb Throttle just yesterday and i am working on it, just finished the Trim Wheel and converted it in Axis and not button. It was hilarious, the trim from velocity was way better but since i changed it with the tuning app, its good, works fine. Then i started to looking for the lights,  landing gear and the other lights. Then i saw here, new update for 2024 is available. But where is the download link?

This is the last honeycomb download i can find here:

Where i can find the latest version for MFS2024?

As said above, it will be out in the few upcoming days.

It should have been ready last week, but we had some trouble with the installer at the last minute.

@SimWareThank you very much for your support and the informations! :) Would it be possible that you re-upload the .json file for us or could you send it to me? Greetings from germany!

The original link is still valid, however, here it is again :

Again, this is not the final official file but a beta, so use at your own risks.

To be able to use this file, i need the so called bridge right? If so, then i have to wait until you publish the driver because i cant install the one which was used by MFS2020 (i never used it, but users who had Honeycomb) and then to add this file in the folder? Or when the driver published, no need for that file?

I apologize for the inconvenience. I have looked through both pages and I come up short on finding anything related to "afc bridge". Could you please attach a link? I promise I spent time really searching before asking

Im still unable to get the lights working and also cant find the afc bridge. I went through all the hoops of checking download section as well as product page, there is only one installer and that one crashes immediately with a missing user.cfg error message. I never installed msfs2020 so I am assuming all these "use at ur own risks" workarounds dont apply to my case. Why someone from Aerosoft doesnt just link to where the supposed afc bridge should is beyon my understanding - guess i ll wait for another 2 weeks for the installer - good stuff...

The same for me. I spent a lot of time yesterday and today, and i figured out that we have to wait for the new driver as SimWare said. Else nothing is working and no other fix is available. The guys with their MFS2020, they were able to use the driver from honeycomb. I am thinking about downloading MFS2020 again and then just deinstall it... Sad situation

Assuming you've installed MSFS 2024, go to C:\Users\(your user)\AppData\Local\Packages and locate a folder named Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe. Duplicate that folder and name it Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe. Run the AS_HONEYCOMB_MSFS_V2100.exe file and go through the steps of installation. After installation go to Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache and there should be a file called exe.xml. Copy it and put it into Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache. Then go to Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community and there should be a folder called AFC_Bridge. Copy it and place it into Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community. Finally, download the .json file from Areosoft located at Page 2 of this fourm and place it into Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\AFC_Bridge\bin. You are now free to delete the Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder.

You won't notice a change at the menu, but once you load a plane, you're lights should light up if your plane is compatible. Let me know if you have more questions.
