When will the box ship, and who is it being delivered by?

 

I'ts almost 4:00pm on the East Coast on the 18th.   I haven't seen anything from Aerosoft nor a shipper.  Nothing at all.

 

Please provide answers to these questions/status update.

When ordering, The order page stated "PRE-ORDER NOW EXCLUSIVELY AT AEROSOFT | Delivery start: November 19, 2024"

 

Now, most people would think that this means Aerosoft would ship by 18 November, as this would actually allow for deliveries to begin by 19 November. Not shipping by 18 November would indicate that Aerosoft is not abiding by their own promise. In addition, Microsoft's announcement about delays indicated that the Limited Collector's Edition would ship on time in the United States.

Yup same for me. I’m in Los Angeles. Not a single bit of info on shipping. I’m so angry. The people that paid the most will not even be able to play on release day. This will be the last time I ever give Aerosoft another dollar.

Exactly what I was coming here to bring up, the amount we paid for shipping and we're not even getting expedited shipping? That's insane..

An email exchange I had with Aerosoft on Sept 22. Stating that they would ship in time for us to have the key on the 19th:

Subject: Concern Re: Game Code being shipped with the MSFS 2024 Ltd Collector’s Edition

Hello, I’m concerned about the timing for the arrival of the Game Code (Premium Edition) being shipped with the MSFS 2024 Aviator Limited Collector’s Edition package. Hoping that the shipping time, to include possible delays, has been calculated so that the Game Code will definitely arive comfortably before November 19th launch day. For “Super Fans” that purchased this package, it’s crucial that we have the Game Code in-hand prior to launch (hopefully a week before launch given how important it is). Also, if there is a shipping/delivery delay, does Aerosoft have a contingency plan in place? Even a day or two delay will be unacceptable with such an anticipated product launch. Thank you in advance for your response.

Thank you for your pre-order and contacting Aerosoft!

Of course we plan to ship all units before the release, so the box is with the customer on or before the release.
However, it is always difficult to guarantee this, as many factors are simply beyond our control.
But don´t worry, we´ll keep you updated!

No shipping confirmation email here.

I got curious and signed into my FedEx account. Label has been created but not picked up yet. Epic fail.

If anyone else is interested, you should be able to see any packages heading your way via your FedEx dashboard.

It's definitely frustrating. I's more or less standard these days for games to be delivered with just in time shipping for the launch. Honestly, I just assumed, given the $50 shipping cost, we'd get some sort of expedited shipping.

I have Game Pass already, for me it's not that big of a deal to not have my key. And let's be honest, the launch probably won't be smooth. However, I know a lot of people don't subscribe and it's a huge let down. To have spent so much money, and be one of the last to be able to play. That really sucks.

I  feel for anyone working support for Aerosoft right now as well. Hopefully people aren't too harsh on them.

lol, maybe they're shipping yours to me. i have a ton of labels created showing a pending shipment to my address. this is so scuffed lol

 

The orders page in my Aerosoft shop account still reads "your order has not been processed yet."

 

To put it mildly, I expected better for my outlay of $259.99.

 

I don't like to exaggerate but I think the term "epic fail" applies here.

 

EDIT: If they can't provide a gamepass they way they're doing for the European customers who are looking at a multi-week shipping delay... then I'd be happy to have them give me a refund so I can buy online through Microsoft and get into the sim.  How about it, Aerosoft?

Mine was just received today. Ended up shipping with UPS instead of FedEx (the FedEx labels are still in pending status). 

I have to say, I'm really impressed with the LCE contents. Call me a fanboy, but I was 100% smiling ear-to-ear while unboxing. I definitely feel like the quality of most of the items is above what I'd usually get in a collector's edition package. The bag is actually decent, especially compared to other LCE bags (ala Fallout). Is it $300 worth? Subjective. But if you were already buying the Aviator edition anyway, (for me) the $100 extra was worth it.

Aerosoft definitely messed this up, and MS definitely botched the release. However, I live in the PNW and got hit by the bomb cyclone and was without power for two days straight, so I missed most of that fun. I had a generator running my PC but trying to hotspot FS2024 was too much. 10gb of data in less than 1h.
