  •   The programming from the P3D-Version could have been used but then this would be also a "Hybrid Version" like the FENIX A320 Airbus or the iFly Boeing 737 MAX where the main program is running "outside" MSFS. Such a version could never been sold on the MSFS Market Place for the XBox users, which is far a much bigger market than for just PC-user.

That's not correct, Rolf. Getting P3D C++ to run in MSFS2020 is pretty straightforward.  I decided to clean slate the project for totally different reasons.

There are many things mentioned in this thread which I think require some clarification:

  • The content / missing features of this plane were clearly stated in the manual on page 2 and which was available before release please see: https://a330ceo-interactive-manual.aerosoft.com/
  • You can fly from A to B using all RL-procedures with the Ingame MSFS Checklist and without any problems. If you do not believe it have a look into the manual for the various flight phases and its videos or
  • What "influencers" state in their videos is not allways correct. A good example is one stating that the SimBrief flightplan cannot be loaded into the MCDU and this is not correct. You can directly import your SimBrief flightplan into the MCDU using INIT REQUEST and even can load "old" ones additionally stating the Flight Number.
  • Ofcourse there are still some minor bugs on which the team is working and soon there will be an update.

Please consider all this when making a statement on the Aerosoft A330ceo for MSFS.

Regards,

Rolf

Hello Rolf, if it is like you say please post a video of how you make a clean landing with all procedures you wrote. Simbrief is the smallest problem this product has.

Please have a look into the video on Youtube (link was part of my original statement) or look into the manual from section 18  (link was also part of my original statement) and the videos included for the various flight phases.....

But Rolf, not only does your video actually show some of the landing issues customers discuss, it also seems to be of a different version of the product as it does not show some of the reported issues.

Your manual describes things very well (it's a GREAT manual); it just does not match what I see.

Hi Mr. Hanse,
what is the impact to the A330ceo if the user does not use the InGame Checklist or processes its tasks in a different order ??

Another question would be if different checklists would be supported ?

1. There is no impact on the planes behaviour iy you use different checklists and procedures.

2. If you how to program in XML and as long as you follow MSFS SDK rules you can write/use  your own checklist .

Mathijs, as described on page 2 of the manual there are ofcourse minor differences between the manual and the actual version. The videos in the manual are to demonstrate the functionality of the procedure- and checklists (works exactly as described) and not the planes flying behaviour. If there is once a final version of the plane, I might adjust the total manual accordingly.

Did You have any "PILOTS" as Beta Testers if so You must have missed something in the  Team building and just engaged SYSTEM OPERATORS to test this crap.

Hope the Update will show up in near future.

I have flown A330-300 in SAS IRL and if You refund my 22,68 i will help You with Beta Testing....:)

From my point of view we aren't talking about minor bugs here. Minor bugs occur in every product and every educated customer knows that and understands that. Developing a complex aircraft for MSFS is not an easy task.
But this aircraft hasn't got some bugs, it has major functionality issues. Look at all the reviews videos and count the things not working correctly. It begins with the ND showing no curves in the lateral flightpath and ends with the behaviour during landing and on the ground.

It would be a first step forward if someone of aerosoft would even acknowlegde that there are major issues instead of talking of some small bugs which weren't found in beta testing.

Good morning, I been trying to Troubleshoot this issue: Can get Engine one to start, I see fuel flow going from 300's to 0 back and forward.

Engine 2 is fine.

Just for reference, I have Fenix, and PMDG as well as Aerosoft Crj, and Ejets, all working fine.

Tried reaching to Aerosoft with no luck, opened a ticket and they closed without a reply to this issue.

I'm holding on purchasing anything else from Aerosoft based on this experience and what have been posted.

Also, this A330 has affected aircraft loading time and have to kill MSFS to be able to get out of this plane and pick other one.

It just hangs on my exit screen and never goes to my main menu screens.

Any input greatly appreciated.

best regards

You are welcome.
Also, according to the hardware in use, one (or more) of these tutorials may be useful :

Your tip on assignment was right on the money, Still, keeps hanging and wont exit to main menu, have to END TASK, to get out, so not a good thing another has to do with autopilot.

Just wasted couple hours on a flight that ended up just killing it.

A very disappointed buy.

Thanks for your help, but I will have to uninstall and give up on this plane.

Was exited and looking forward to have it in my Sim.

I wish you a great weekend and thank you for your time.

  • 2 weeks later...

Dear Aerosoft, if you look at the iniBuilds presentation on their A330 you will see an aircraft that I expected from Aerosoft and this aircraft is included in MSFS2024!

Shame on you with your disappointing product. I bought it and regret it. Time for an internal discussion/reorganization at Aerosoft. Is the German government going to sue Aerosoft because of the 500K grant? It wouldn’t surprise me.

B.t.w., did you release it suddenly because you were aware of the quality of iniBuilds?

Can’t wait to buy MSFS2024, but I will not buy it in the Aerosoft store.

What a mess Aerosoft.

Stopped by to see if it was any good news.

Uninstalled A330 and hopped there was a fix but seems is not.

Not purchasing a single item from Aerosoft, needs better quality control.

Have a great day.

Dear All,

What is your schedule for the A330 updates, to have a product that is finished.
I am very disappointed with the lack of rigor of Aerosoft, this product was released too early.
Waiting for future update.
Have a nice day
