A330 Dark Displays

Featured Replies

Good evening! As the proud owner of the new A330, I'm afraid I have to ask here: my cockpit is almost completely dark. FCU, autopilot, ND, ECAM. Nothing is displayed. Even uninstalling and then reinstalling + restarting the PC didn't work. Is this a bug? Of course I don't have a photo because I closed my MSFS out of anger :D

Edit:

Edit: Just saw that I posted it under Box Versions. Please adjust where the topic belongs.

Hi,

This could be due to an Aerosoft One utility issue. Please try the solutions outlined below.

Potential Solution #1

  1. Restart your PC and then launch Aerosoft One.
  2. Go to Library > Dependencies > Installed and uninstall the Aerosoft One MSFS Utilities.
  3. Go to Library > Microsoft Flight Simulator > Installed Add-ons and uninstall the A330.
  4. Go to Library > Microsoft Flight Simulator > Available Add-ons and re-install the A330 (this will also automatically re-install the Aerosoft One MSFS Utilities).
  5. The aerosoft-aircraft-a333-pw shortcut/folder and aerosoft-one-msfs-utilities folder should now exist in your <MSFS Packages>\Community folder. Launch MSFS and check if the A330 is working now.

Potential Solution #2

  1. Restart your PC and then open the folder <MSFS Packages>\Community\aerosoft-one-msfs-utilities\utilities.
  2. Double-click on Aerosoft One MSFS Utilities.exe (the application will start without creating any visible windows).
  3. Launch MSFS and check if the A330 is working now.

Potential Solution #3

  1. Restart your PC and then open the folder <MSFS Packages>\Community\aerosoft-one-msfs-utilities\utilities.
  2. Right-click on Aerosoft One MSFS Utilities.exe and then click Run as administrator (the application will start without creating any visible windows).
  3. Launch MSFS and check if the A330 is working now.

Thanks Tom :)

Solution #1 has helped. Topic can be closed, thanks for the help.

Mr. Lindberg

If you found it, and it was not at the place were Tom suggested it, can you please post the file path were you found it on your PC. It is a bummer to read forum posts discussing some issues that we have and see that some one found it, but not telling were.

You are not alone doing this, it is very common, so please no offence given from me, more have this issue noticed by other members of this forum.

So, can you please please post the file path to the exe file. Maybe that will help someone with the same issue you had.

I wich you a happy flight.
