Aerosoft One issues

Featured Replies

I might be the only with this problem, but Aerosoft One is almost unusable on my system. It takes more than 5 minutes just to launch, and often it does not open at all. If it opens, it appears to work more or less normally. However, downloads also take forever just to get started.

I purchased something from Aerosoft 1-2 months ago and I had to transfer my license to another shop to install the product. I would love to purchase EDDF from you, but I just had the same issues with Aerosoft One as before. I hope this can be resolved. If not, I may have to wait until EDDF is available in other shops.

Thanks,

Peter

Hello Marius,

thanks for your reply. Yes, it is installed in the standard directory (C: .. AppData/ ...). The hexagonal logo appears and then the little circle goes on and on. Connection issues?

Hi,

We have many customers who experienced the same slow startup issue and were able to fix it by disabling the third-party antivirus program installed on their PC. Here's the feedback from one such customer:

"By chance I have now found the error: I use McAfee Total Protection and deactivated all measures as a test. After clicking on Aerosoft One, the program opened after a very short time. I was now able to install the add-ons again.

After switching on "Real-time scan" in McAfee, Aerosoft One no longer works (takes longer than 5 minutes to load and it is not possible to install the add-ons). I then activated the firewall and VPN and deactivated real-time scan.

Aerosoft One can be started and add-ons can be downloaded.

Apparently it is due to the "real-time scan" from McAfee."

Therefore, we request that you disable any third-party antivirus program installed on your PC, restart your PC, and try launching Aerosoft One again. Please let us know whether or not disabling the third-party antivirus program fixes the slow startup issue.

It was indeed McAfee. After switching off Real-time scan, Aerosoft One starts normally. I also tried to exclude all .exe and .dll files in McAfee, but that had no effect.

Many thanks for your help,

Peter
