Location of ini files

When using the airplane (in Prepar3D v4) its state becomes recorded in a set of ini files, for example documentsOctopusG_An-2_state_an2_vh-cce.ini.

Strangely enough those files are written to the root of the user folder - C:\Users\[user]\ - the place not intended for writing any data files in Windows.

Is it possible to move their locations somewhere else, say, within the installation folder?
