Aircraft elevation on ground at LSZH

Hi there,

I might be stupid but maybe someone can help me out?

 

When I am at the apron at LSZH my Citation Mustang is “floating” in the air about 2 m above the ground.

From the cockpit view it seems like I am sitting at the height of an 737 or A320…

 

How and where can I adjust this?

I can add that I have 2 sep PC for the 5 visuals where the LSZH is installed on both machines. 1 PC is running the Sim and the avionics.

All PCs are very high spec.

I'm not sure what is causing this. Using just one computer and starting at Gate A15 with the Laminar Citation (it's the closest I have to your aircraft) it sits perfectly on the ground, as expected, so I guess it's not caused by the scenery. There is also nothing to adjust, aircrafts are spawned directly on the mesh or specially designed 'hard' surfaces if present (but there is not such surface present at LSZH so the aircraft has to be placed on the mesh).

 

There must be a cause for this but at this point I can't tell for sure what that cause is so I have some questions:

Does this happen...

 

... only at specific parking positions or everywhere?

... when using other aircraft?

... when using only one computer to run X-Plane?

 

Further, are you using the mesh provided by the scenery or an ortho4xp tile?

Hi and thank for the answer.

I have found the problem…

because running the sim with 3 PCs, I actually also had to install the sceneries also on the PC running the avionics… 

All good now…
