Jan R. Storelvmo 69
Hello, Been enjoying this scenery for a long time now, but just wanted to ask when the promised update for the Seychelles scenery is planned for XP12? Here are a few suggestions for improvement: Better city texturing (foto real) with autogen on top (city and suburban areas do not look very good) Some of the autogen buildings need updating and improvement (they currently look very basic and cartoonish) More 3D models of hotels and resorts More helipads (there are countless helipads in real life for the various islands while the scenery only covers a few) 1 Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/178016-update-for-the-seychelles-xp12/ Share on other sites
maps2xplane 350
Thanks for your message! We're very happy to hear that you are still enjoying Seychelles XP. I can confirm -even if no concrete schedule exists yet- that we are still planning another XP12 update. As part of this update, we plan not only to take care of custom 3d vegetation, but we're also keen to update the -admittedly- dated autogen! We can definitely do that better, what we've already shown with Bora Bora & Leeward Islands XP and especially Tahiti & Windward Islands XP. I can reveal that we are currently working on the latter two products, and that Seychelles XP will also benefit from this work. As for your other suggestions, these are already also on our list of wishes and ideas, but no decisions have been made about these additional features yet. As usual, we'll keep you posted about our activities on our website and on FB. 1 Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/178016-update-for-the-seychelles-xp12/#findComment-1119849 Share on other sites

Any news regarding an update to your Seychelles scenery? We're continually striving to keep even our older X-Plane 11 sceneries compatible with X-Plane 12 – for free. In fact, Seychelles XP was one of the first scenery packs to receive a compatibility-patch for XP12. And yes, another update is planned, and actually already in the works since the end of last year – but it will take some more time to complete. We'll publish details on the scope as and when we're ready! (in advance: there's a lot also on our wishlist, and it is to be decided what demands an entire remake, and what can be implemented with a simple update - but no worries, even given the age of the scenery, there will be again also a few new features alongside compatibly-fixes with the next update - as usual with updates of our scenery packs) Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/178016-update-for-the-seychelles-xp12/#findComment-1126852 Share on other sites
