LTFM XP12

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just buyed LTFM XP12, and install it. Airport looks fine but my ortho tiles is (+41+028) is disappeared. If I remove LTFM it is coming back again. After that I create new tiles with copying SceneryTR - LTFM Istanbul - 2 - Mesh\Patches\+40+020\+41+028\LTFM.patch.osm file in to the Ortho4XP\Ortho4XP\Patches folder.  And remove "SceneryTR - LTFM Istanbul - 2 - Mesh" folder from custom scenrey that ortho starts to appeared again.

But I do not know, is this correct way to use with orthoxp? because there is no any maunel in the folders for how to use.

btw older version was flat and this one is not flat and nice to see beacuse airport is not flat in real life.

Thank

That's all fine, you did it all right. The XP12 version of LTFM ships with a custom mesh tile so you have to disable or remove this when using Ortho4xp and use the patch to create the mesh within Ortho4xp - you did all that correctly so you airport should look as intended.

The XP11 version was flat and did not have a custom mesh which did not look that good but was acceptable I think but in XP12 that situation got worse and making the airport flat destroyed all the surrounding terrain visually and that looks really bad in XP12 so we had to ship a fixed mesh to get some areas flattened but in a reasonable way which also looks more realistic.

Hello developer, I need your help with mesh in this scenario. I couldn’t fully understand whether I should directly reference the file path of the TIFF file mentioned above within the mesh file in the scenario to add it to the custom mesh area in Ortho4XP, or if I need to copy this TIFF file into the Ortho4XP/internal/elevation data folder and rebuild the tile using batch build.

Additionally, this TIFF file is named in the format +41+028, but the Ortho4XP developers state that such files should be named like N41E028, similar to the .hgt format.

Thank you.
