I'm afraid we have to consider this a write-off. It was a mistake buying this add-on, it will not be fixed by the look of things. Hopefully it will be irrelevant in MSFS 2024 but still, what a disappointment.

To be fair, I think it is Asobo's fault - even PMDG had to abandon their own pushback for the 777 due to whatever changes in ground handling Sim Upate 15 introduced. I asked on the MSFS Dev Q&A livestream chat if Asobo would help developers of pushback tools, and they said "Yes, reach out to us"...

Whoever's fault it is, it's just a disappointment. Even if Asobo messed things up they then offered technical help, yet it doesn't look Aerosoft reached out or it lead to any result. In the end we're left with a utility that doesn't work properly.

It's been a few months and nothing has changed. What a disappointing and irresponsible Aerosoft. I will never buy Aerosoft products again and will refund this. I don't intend to pay a single dollar of mine for trash.

The last official word on any development of this tool was on July 18. The project is obviously abandoned at this point and it would be best to clarify the situation and delist the product from stores, including the marketplace.

Only seeing this thread now. Has it really been abandoned? Poor showing from Aerosoft. First the A330 and now this. I've always been a fan of Aerosoft products, but things have really fallen apart recently. The only reason I switched from the freeware version was because I assumed it was going to be supported. I guess that was a mistake I won't make again.

Those of us that purchased on the Marketplace are left totally hanging. While it is not Aerosoft's fault that Asobo broke this add-on, poor showing by Aerosoft. My second and last purchase (I think even if they fix it now, due to their poor follow up)...

Agreed. I'm not blaming Aerosoft for the breakage. But if Asobo asked them to reach out regarding how to go about fixing it and Aerosoft haven't responded, I then I absolutely AM blaming Aerosoft.

Just popped back for a look in the vain hope there might be a fix for this in sight. I tend to agree that we have all be unceremoniously dumped !

I should like to make one final entry on this subject and do so hope Mr Tom is still reading this thread. I have the past few days been chasing another issue I have been plagued with on the FS2020 I use. I finally bit the bullet and did a full unload/load of FS2020 a couple of days ago. After setting up the usual add-ons, I got it back to almost where it was. Thought I might have one last shot at this perennial issue I (we) have been having with the pushback pro programme. I have be using the ambitious-pilots free programme in the meantime for which I am more than grateful to these people for their work. I removed all traces of the ambitious-pilots edition from the community folder and re-loaded the Pushback-Pro.

 

I was unexpectedly rewarded with the semblance of a reasonable pushback without the violent swings we all suffer ! !. Not perferct, and some very unusal wing bending upwards on the push but nonetheless, seems to work. I am wonerding if this might improve with time and a cache build up so I will have to accept it as is. I have absolutely no idea where to pinpoint the cause of this problem but as the community folder is more or less the same, perhaps, just perhaps it was a corrut file in the game. Guess I'll never know.

Oh deary deary me, looks like I spoke too soon. The push-back ballet performance with all its twirls and twists during my push-back is back !
