Looking for New Flight Simulator Recommendations

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get some advice on flight simulators. I've been a fan of X-Plane for a while, starting with X-Plane 10 and now enjoying X-Plane 11 on my PC. It's been a great experience, but I'm looking for something new to spice things up.

I've had a positive experience with dofreality, and it was pretty impressive. However, I'm not in a hurry to purchase it just yet.

So, what other flight simulators would you recommend for someone seeking new and exciting experiences? What do you like about your favorite simulator?

Looking forward to your suggestions!

And hello again!

For spicing things up, have you considered trying Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020? It's renowned for its stunning visuals and detailed world. The real-time weather and traffic add a lot of immersion, making every flight feel unique.

What I love about Microsoft Flight Simulator is the sheer beauty of the landscapes and the accuracy of the flight models. It's like a global adventure from the comfort of your home.

Another option to consider is dofreality. I haven't personally tried it, but a friend of mine has, and they say it's quite impressive for its price. The motion platform can really enhance the overall experience, adding a physical dimension to your flights that you might find exciting.

Well, listen, if I were you, I’d take a closer look at each option. Maybe someone will share their experience with you. In the end, it’s you who will be playing, not someone else.

You may also want to consider what fun and "immersion" means to you. Like for example, rank these in order of priority: exterior visuals, virtual reality, multi-player, systems fidelity in complex aircraft, frame rates and performance, opportunities for sightseeing, ability to fire weapons.

Based on your answers, some options might appeal more to you than others.

Thanks for the suggestion! I like your method, and I'll give it a try to see which aspects of a flight simulator are most important to me.
