NavDataPro not working for "FSX Steam Edition Airbus A320/A321 Add-On"

Featured Replies

Hi,

I bought "NavDataPro - Single dataset", I do not know why I still get the old cycle 15OCT11NOV/15 even though I updated the cycle using NavDataPro, I have put the path C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX, but I get no cycle update.

NOTE: My Flight Simulator is "Flight Simulator X Steam Edition". Also note that I bought Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321 Add-On in Steam on 2 Jan 2018. I do not know if the Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321 Add-On I bought in Steam caused this issue.

Please let me know if you need further information.

I really appreciate your help.

Best regards,

Hello,

The Airbus version distributed by Dovetailgames via Steam works a bit different from the Aerosoft version.
This is due to the technical realities of the Steam platform.
Our NavDataPro client cannot write data direct to data folders of foreign Steam DLC.
However, you can try this work around to update the navdata for you Airbus manually:
Open the NavDataPro client and
select the "Aerosoft Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321" for FSX.
Update the navdata for this selection. (as you already did)

The data will be installed to this folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\Aerosoft\Airbus_Fallback\NavDataPro\
Copy the content of this folder into to the folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\DLC\500210\Aerosoft\Airbus_Fallback\NavDataPro\
Run your FSX and check the AIRAC cycle in the Airbus FMC

Please keep in mind that everytime you update data of your FSX via Steam (a.e. you check the integrity of the game files) the navdata will be overwritten with the older files.
As I said before this version of the Airbus is distributed by Dovetailgames
and there is nothing we can change.

I hope this will help you.

Best regards
