Weird situations

Featured Replies

Promessing add-on. However, I don't understand why the situation at a particular airport is suddenly changed when I arrive or start there.

I landed in Jersey which was overloaded whith Easy Jets. In Orly I din't find any Air France planes but the airport was full with Air Malta.

Once I started in Brussels and saw similarly the gates full with Air Malta. At other times Brussels seemed to be okay with among others Brussels Airlines and TuiFly planes.

What is going wrong?

My settings are according to the documenttion.

Thanks

Robert

Sorry you did not get an answer yet, Robert.  I used to be the project manager for this project and might be able to shed some light on this.

First of all, what you see is not a bug, just a limitation of the simulator. The manual explains that in some detail and also explains what settings are important to minimize this. By far the best thing you can do is avoid using real-time traffic. It is rather limited in scope, is not always available (which could explain what you saw) and off-line actually is a lot more realistic.

Thanks, Mathijs for your answer.

I nevertheless consider to buy fs-traffic. It is of course more expensive, but by far more realistic, especcially concerning the aircraft models and the companies at a certain airport. For instance, I don't like to see all those A330's (e.g. Ryanair).

I understand that Robert. Simple Traffic was really designed to be something in between default and high-end tools. Make sure you have the hardware for more detailed traffic though!
