having installed the software for VDGS how many folders should I have installed in community?

In AerosoftONE under "Dependencies" you have to install:
- Aerosoft Data Exchange Module for Microsoft Flight Simulator

- Aerosoft VDGS Driver for Microsoft Flight Simulator

- Aerosoft VDGS Model Library for Microsoft Flight Simulator

And so you should have the following folders in the MSFS Community folder:
- ../aerosoft-data-exchange

- ../aerosoft-modellib-vdgs

- ../aerosoft-vdgs-driver

can I disable these three files in the community folder with MSFS_Addons_Linker if I don't use an airport that uses them?

yes you absolutely can. i use addonlinker for situations just like this. not sure why support here was so confused about your question

Hi     i cant download the data exchange module somehow. It tells me that the download was complete but i cant find it in my community folder. I have problems with vdgs since month and recognised now that the data exchange module is not downloading. Could u please help me
