Hello everyone.

I just purchased the HoneyComb throttle and I can't get it to work. This is what I did:

I installed HoneyComb configurator.

I downloaded and installed AFC_Bridge in XP12/Resources/Plugins

And the joystick configs folder in XP12/Resources

Then I opened HoneyComb configurator:

Actions/Open settings/Import profiles/zibo 738 throttle.JSON (previously downloaded) /import profile then activate current profile.

I restarted Windows, then ran xp12 with the zibo engines on and went to plugin/Honeycomb/BFC-Throttle/reload bindings.

I then went to the Joystick/commercial 2 engines throttle window and all controls are enabled. I opened profile management and associated the profile with the aircraft then ok

When I return to the simulator, only the throttle controls work but without the reverses. The flaps and the SPD Break don't work either. Same for the buttons (HDG etc…).

Do you have any idea where this malfunction could come from? Thank you in advance for your answers. I'm on Windows 10 Pro and I have the zibo 4.0 RC3.9 with XP12

Hi,

After you reloaded the bindings, Did you see a  message popping up on the XP 12 screen confirming the bindings are actually loaded ?

Also, keep in mind that the axes (throttle, speedbrake, flaps are not managed by the configurator but need to be assigned in the simulator itself.

Thank you.

Hello, I am in need of your assistance please. I have the Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo quadrant, both are used for x-plane 12 on my Apple Mac Studio with the M1 Max chip. I did the software install EXACTLY as described in the Honeycomb installation instructions, first downloading the file, unzipping it, copying  the BFC folder and the joystick config folder contents into their respective x-plane folders.

The yoke functions as expected, but the quadrant has the following issues:

1. The axis labels are not in order, I’ve attached a photo. Is there a way to change this?

2. The throttles and flaps axis have to be set to reverse axis otherwise they will function the opposite of their input (e.g. if the throttle is set to idle, it’ll show full throttle in gameplay).

3. and this is the most important, I cannot get the autopilot panel to work. I spent ALL day configuring it with the HC configurator, saving and activating profiles, and exporting them to the x-plane directory, trying several different folders, but when I load up x-plane, I cannot find the profiles anywhere.

I’m not sure if all these issues are because the devices or the HC configurator don’t have an x-plane 12 update yet or if I’m doing something wrong.

Hi,

The Configurator isn't compatible with M1 chips yet.

For the sake of check, when activating a profile after loading it, does a pop-up appear in Xplane telling you how many bindings were loaded ?

For the AFC_Bridge plug-in to work, you must run X-Plane 12 in Rosetta mode. Browse to your X-Plane folder in the Finder, right click the X-Plane.app and select information, then activate the checkbox „run with Rosetta“
