How to setup Bravo Throttle in the EFB of the Aerosoft A330

This tutorial shows how to configure the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle with the Aerosoft A330 EFB for MSFS.

 

Altough default values are usually satisfactory for the Bravo throttle, you may want to make different setup
or adjust an existing one depending on your specific hardware or personal needs.

The A330 EFB includes a custom calibration utility to match the IDLE-CLIMB-FLEX-TOGA detents
of the plane to the corresponding ones of your hardware.

NOTE : You should first follow the basic setup tutorial here

IMPORTANT : 

Do NOT attempt this calibration when the EFB is undocked.
When undocked, the focus isn't in the main simulator window anymore
and the controls (throttle, yoke, etc.) are disabled making the calibration impossible.

Instead, do this procedure in the virtual cockpit like in the video below.

 

STEP 1 :
Make sure you made those exact throttle axes and reversers buttons assignments

STEP 2 :

Go to the EFB and click anywhere in its screen

STEP 3 :
Click on the upper-right settings cogwheel

STEP 4 :
A settings window opens.
Click AIRCRAFT

STEP 5 :
1 – Set “Custom throttle calibration” ON
2 – Set “Throttle axis count” 2

3 – Set Reversers on axis NO

4 – Click IDLE

STEP 6 :
Put the Bravo levers on the IDLE position

STEP 7 :

1 – Click SET CURRENT for both axes

2 – The values will adjust according to the values sent by the Bravo to Windows
NOTE : If needed you can fine tune those values with the “-“ and “+” buttons next to the values.

STEP 8 :
Put the Bravo levers on the CLIMB position
Click CLIMB
Repeat STEP 7

Put the Bravo levers on the FLEX position
Click FLX/MCT
Repeat STEP 7

Put the Bravo levers on the TOGA position
Click TOGA
