Write Protection / Re-Install MSFS

Recommended Posts

After a re-install of MSFS (not using disk) I have the problem that I am not able to add anymore custom views. Them I detected that the folder for such files = C:\Users\Rolf\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe is write protected. I now have two questions:

1. Can this be changed (changing the attributes of the folder does not help)? Or

2. How I can "clean" re-install MSFS from disks?

Regards,

Rolf

Shouldnt make any difference between DVD and Store Version.

Under which account did you install MSFS?
