As there is now a more complex AM system with v5 involving amendments to the .cfg file, how do we ensure that SimstarterNG does not change this ? It appears that default is to use ALL cores. PERO 398 Posted December 19, 2022 Developer Share Posted December 19, 2022 If you reduce the cores via the RunConfigSet (or another software), then only these reduced cores are available in the prepar3d.cfg. This explains why P3D resets the Affinity settings if you reduce it at startup and try to assign more than available. I.e. if one limits the cores in P3D, then one should start P3D with all cores.
