Databases? Why databases?

Because we are adding a ton of new airports!

 

You see, this products includes over a 400 new 'airports', many of them with official ICAO codes. These include oil and gas rigs and the control platforms for the windfarms. These heliports are not included in the databases of MSFS. It also includes over 700 ships with official helipads. There are also 700+ ships with 'hard decks' you can land on (if they are large enough) or at least you can operate a winch on.  Of course you can also winch to the thousands of wind turbines!

 

The databases here are published so external tools can included them. For example OnAir  will fully cover all the objects and you will be able to use all helipads for your flights. Be the king of the oilfields and make a ton of money ferrying crew to and from the platforms. So while OnAir will know about these, other tools will allow you to import data.
