Hey everyone, If you are simulating maintenance, is there a way to enter MELs?  Not MEL fuel but the actual MEL number and title. Thanks!

I think your only options here would be to add the entries in the 'Message to Crew' or 'OFP Remarks' sections located on the advanced planning tab.

 

Just how and what is displayed in the OFP will depend upon the template in use.

 

It would also be possible to use the remarks entry in the aircraft editor, again requiring a suitable OFP template.

My two cents are that I would add this in the Aircraft Editor, since MELs are specific to the aircraft. Enter it in the Aircraft Editor when the item is deferred or INOP, and then clear it on the Aircraft Editor when the item get fixed. 🙂

 

As Stephen says, not every OFP is configured to display the aircraft remarks, so you'll need to be using an OFP that does.
