The lack of response is concerning!

Recommended Posts

There is a thread on this forum entitled "Manual flight and pitch inertia" - it was started on March 17, 2021 and the last post is dated July 13, 2022 and no CLEAR response has been given. This problem still exists - just watch some you tube videos and see how wonky the pitch is on take off. The speeds go way above V2+10 before the plane becomes stable in the initial climb out. I submitted a ticket (#4149) regarding this matter. Below is the response I received.

"We do not have any such reports at the moment. Is your trim correctly set and your hardware/joystick properly configured?

The in-sim w&b menu will not match the actual w&b figures. The only reference is your efb, as pointed out in the manuals.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / With friendly greetings,

Yet the above mentioned post is one such report - at the moment. This problem needs immediate attention from at least Alex. The response I would appreciate is:

1.  Acknowledgement of the problem from Aerosoft

2. Their word that they will resolve it (which was already promised by Alex in the mentioned post but has since been silent)

3. When we can expect a fix - keep us updated and not to let this post go "cold"

4. No flippant and sarcastic responses

Regards

Trevor

There is a serious issue with the pitch inertia as you said. The aircraft does not want to rotate at normal trim values and as you said, takes significant speed before it starts to raise the nose.

This is a pattern apparently, not bothering to respond.

Oh they responded: "We didn't find a solution when we briefly looked, so we stopped looking."
