Hello Jesus,

 

No, not at all.
You can use it most of the times with the standard axes and buttons assignments from within MSFS.

And, unless you use addons using memory offsets, I would rather use AxisAndOhs, should you need functionalities not 

available in MSFS directly.

 

Current aircraft use L-Vars wich are quite intricate to address in FSUIPC.
